COMPLIANCE WITH TRACEABILITY IN FOOD SECTOR AND INCREASING AWARENESS OF SMES

Human health gains importance day by day in our rapidly developing world. For this reason, food safety is always one of the issues that are studied for the healthy development of individuals. 

Various studies are carried out in the European Union and in our country to reduce the risks on food with the slogan "From Field to Fork". "Safe Food" is the one of the issues highlighted by  European Union in its enlargement process. Therefore, Food Safety standards have become increasingly important for the European Union negotiation process. Food Safety is a critical issue for all segments of society and the European Union has many new regulations on this issue. Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce has developed the project named "Compliance with Traceability in Food Sector and Increasing Awareness of SMEs" together with its Spanish partner Reus Chamber of Commerce in order to prepare Eskişehir for this change.
