BIOGRAPHY OF PRESIDENT

Metin GÜLER
President of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce

Metin Güler was born in Eskisehir in 1966. Güler, who met trade at an early age, is still the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Güler Group of Companies operating in the metal industry.

Believing that entrepreneurship increases efficiency in all areas of life, Güler took responsibilities with a social understanding throughout his professional life.

He started his work at Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce in 1995 as a Committee Member. He was a Member of the Assembly and a Member of the Board of Directors between 1999-2005.  During this period, he took a leading role in the Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce to start quality studies.

He served as Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce Assembly President for two terms in 2009 and 2013. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce since 18 December 2013.

Metin Güler, who previously served as a Board Member of Eskisehir Industrialists and Business Managers Association for three terms, is currently Chairman of Eskisehir Chamber of Commerce Education and Social Services Foundation, Chairman of Muttalıp Organized Industrial Zone, Chairman of Eskisehir Fair and Congress Center Inc., Board Member of Bursa Eskisehir Bilecik Development Agency, Council Member of the  Chambers of Commerce at The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)

Güler, who speaks German and Slavic languages, is married and has two children.
