The members of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) operating in the insurance sector came together for a meeting as part of Insurance Week.
ETO organized a gathering for its members in the insurance sector during Insurance Week. The breakfast meeting was attended by ETO Council President Halil İbrahim Ara, Council Vice President Metin Öztürk, Board Vice President Özgür Alp, Board Treasurer İsmail Çavdar, and Board Members Hüsnü Ünalan and Emre Demir, who accompanied the members active in the insurance sector. During the meeting, ETO Council President Halil İbrahim Ara emphasized that insurance is a crucial safeguard for both business life and daily living. He also pointed out that the companies operating in the sector add value to both work life and society.
Continued Support for the Development of the Insurance Sector
Ara expressed that ETO will continue to support the members in the insurance sector and strive to find solutions to the sector's challenges. ETO Vice President Özgür Alp mentioned that the requests of members in the insurance sector have been conveyed to relevant institutions and organizations, including TOBB (Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), and that ETO has played an active role in addressing these issues. Alp also highlighted that the increase in policy prices in the insurance sector had not been reflected in agent commissions and that this issue had been communicated to the relevant authorities. He reiterated that ETO continues its efforts to raise awareness of the insurance sector’s importance and will keep working toward its growth.
During the meeting, the expectations within the sector were also discussed. ETO Council Members Barış Can Öztürk and Baki Çetin, along with the 5th Professional Committee President Mahmut Koşak and committee members, also participated in the meeting.
