ETO REPRESENTS ESKİŞEHİR'S ECONOMY AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL IN BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA

The Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) delegation participated in the ZEPS International Zenica Trade Fair with the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nermin Nikšić, and the Minister of Development and Entrepreneurship, Vojin Mijatović, and held a series of visits in the capital Sarajevo.

ETO's mission to expand Eskişehir’s international trade network included a series of key meetings in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The delegation, led by ETO Council President Halil İbrahim Ara and Vice President of the Board of Directors Özgür Alp, first met with the Turkish Ambassador to Sarajevo, Sadık Babür Girgin. In this meeting, the delegation provided information about Eskişehir’s economy, key industries, and steps that could be taken to enhance trade between the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Eskişehir.

Bosnian and Eskişehir Businesspeople Meet for Trade

The ETO delegation’s second stop in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the Bosnia and Herzegovina Foreign Trade Chamber. The delegation met with Co-Chairs of the Chamber Zdravko Marinković and Vjekoslav Vuković, as well as Director Ognjenka Lalović. During the meeting, ETO Council President Halil İbrahim Ara emphasized that Eskişehir’s economy was growing stronger year by year and expressed their desire to improve the trade volume and reflect the strong bonds of friendship between the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Eskişehir in economic terms.

Another important part of the ETO delegation's trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina was their participation in the ZEPS International Zenica Trade Fair. The fair's opening ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić, Minister of Development and Entrepreneurship Vojin Mijatović, Turkish Ambassador Sadık Babür Girgin, Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton Nezir Pivić, Economy Minister of ZDK Samir Sibonjić, Mayor of Zenica Fuad Kasumović, Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekip Avdagiç, and ETO Council President Halil İbrahim Ara.

Businesspeople from Eskişehir Attend the Fair from Various Sectors

In his speech at the opening ceremony, ETO Council President Halil İbrahim Ara noted that the economic relations between Turkey and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina were growing stronger every day. He highlighted that the ZEPS International Zenica Trade Fair would contribute to strengthening the trade ties between the two countries. Ara also mentioned that ETO’s delegation at the fair included businesspeople from real estate, furniture, textiles, food manufacturing, automotive spare parts, machinery manufacturing, and the medical sectors. He stated that the fair would add value to both Eskişehir's and Bosnia and Herzegovina's economies.
