VEHBİ KOÇ KONGRE MERKEZİ TO REOPEN AS A HUB FOR CULTURE AND ARTS
After a summer break, the Vehbi Koç Congress Center, which has brought new energy to Eskişehir's business and cultural life, will resume its activities with the "Dance Symphony 80s-90s" concert on the evening of Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
Located under the umbrella of Eskişehir Fair Congress Center (EFKM), the Vehbi Koç Congress Center will open its doors again after the summer hiatus. In the first half of 2024, the venue set a record by hosting 61,195 people. The new season will kick off with a concert featuring hits from legendary 80s and 90s artists and groups, performed by a symphony orchestra.
A Heartbeat of Culture and Art
In the upcoming months, the Vehbi Koç Congress Center will host a variety of cultural and artistic events, including:
- September 29, 2024: "Legendary Dinosaurs: An Exciting Journey Through Time" children's show (two sessions)
- October 2, 2024: "Kırk Yıl Sonra – From Poems to Songs" concert by Hüsnü Arkan and Dengin Ceyhan
- October 6, 2024: Shakespeare's "Antonius and Cleopatra" theater performance
- October 10, 2024: Stand-up comedy show "Yenisi" by Özgür Turhan

Metin Güler, President of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO), commented on the reopening of the Vehbi Koç Congress Center, emphasizing its continuing role in strengthening Eskişehir's cultural and artistic life. He noted that the venue has hosted numerous shows, concerts, and events not available elsewhere in the city. Güler reaffirmed that the Vehbi Koç Congress Center will continue to serve as a center for both business and cultural arts for people of all ages in the future.
