Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler stated that 1,627,918 people attended fairs held at the ETO TÜYAP Fair Center, and 105,000 people participated in events at the Vehbi Koç Congress Center, emphasizing that their goal is to reach 1 million visitors annually by 2030.
In his assessment of the activities of the Eskişehir Fair Congress Center (EFKM), ETO President Metin Güler noted that the center, which began operations in December 2018, has made a significant contribution to both the business and cultural arts life of Eskişehir, despite coinciding with the pandemic period. He reported that 27 fairs have been organized at the ETO TÜYAP Fair Center to date, with participation from 1,810 companies from both domestic and international locations. Güler mentioned that companies from 53 countries opened booths at the fairs, which were attended by a total of 1,627,918 visitors.
Vehbi Koç Congress Center Has Become the City’s Business and Cultural Hub
Güler indicated that, in parallel with the ETO TÜYAP Fair Center, the Vehbi Koç Congress Center has hosted 218 events focused on business and cultural arts, attracting 105,000 attendees. He pointed out that visitors came not only from Eskişehir but also from surrounding provinces, marking the center's success in becoming the most comprehensive business and cultural center in the city in a short time.
Goal: Reach 1 Million Annual Visitors by 2030
Stating that the total number of guests welcomed at both the ETO TÜYAP Fair Center and the Vehbi Koç Congress Center has reached 1,732,918, Güler expressed that the events contribute to both the city’s service sector and Eskişehir’s business and cultural arts life. He mentioned that the new strategic goal of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce is to host 1 million people annually at the Eskişehir Fair Congress Center. Güler added that through new organizations, cultural and artistic events, and festivals, they aim to achieve this target by 2030. He announced that a book fair would be held again at the ETO TÜYAP Fair Center from April 27 to May 5, 2024, and that more than 40 special education institutions would meet with parents and students during the Special Education Institutions Promotion Days on April 27-28.
