SUCCESS OF THE "CLEAN BUSINESS" PROJECT FROM ESKİŞEHİR

Elif Gürkaynak, President of the TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council, expressed her happiness and pride in Eskişehir being ranked first among 20 provinces in the "Clean Business Project" trainings conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education’s General Directorate of Lifelong Learning, the TOBB Eskişehir Women Entrepreneurs Council, and OPET.

In the scope of the "Clean Business Project" trainings organized by the Ministry of National Education’s General Directorate of Lifelong Learning, the TOBB Eskişehir Women Entrepreneurs Council, and OPET, Eskişehir secured the top position among 20 provinces. The training sessions, aimed at micro-enterprises and employees in the food and beverage, accommodation, and transportation sectors, allowed Eskişehir to surpass cities like Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, Kocaeli, and Konya. At the meeting held for the widespread implementation of the project across Turkey, which was attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council President Nurten Öztürk, and MEB General Director of Lifelong Learning Cengiz Mete, Eskişehir’s Deputy Provincial Education Director Ali Pehlivan, Director of the Odunpazarı Public Education Center Sinan Gülşen, and Elif Gürkaynak were also present.

TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council Will Continue to Contribute to the City

In his speech at the meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of expanding the project to encompass a broader range of industries and spreading it to all 81 provinces. He also thanked all stakeholders who contributed to the project’s development. Nurten Öztürk, President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council, noted that the project began with pilot applications in 2021 and has reached 150,000 individuals. MEB General Director of Lifelong Learning Cengiz Mete mentioned that 150,000 people benefited from the training programs aimed at protecting public health and improving the quality of life. Elif Gürkaynak commented on Eskişehir being ranked first in providing training to the most people among the 20 provinces, stating that the TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Council would continue to support the development of the city, increase the number of women entrepreneurs, and promote the growth of women-owned businesses.
