A plaque of appreciation was presented to the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) by the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, for the successful activities of the Trade Registry Office and the establishment of the Registry Academy.
The II. Symposium on Trade Registry Practices and the Registry Academy meeting were held in Ankara, organized in cooperation with TOBB and the Ministry of Trade's Directorate General of Internal Trade. The meeting aimed to ensure the uniformity of application among trade registry offices and improve service quality. Nurşen Öztürk, the head of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce Trade Registry Office, and her staff attended the meeting, which also featured participation from M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and Mahmut Gürcan, the Deputy Minister of Trade, during the closing session.
Hisarcıklıoğlu Highlights the Importance of Trade Registry Offices
During the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu noted that since 1995, the responsibility of maintaining trade registries has been assigned to trade chambers by law, emphasizing that the trade registry office is the first point of contact for members with the chambers. He stated that the success of the trade registry office staff reflects the success of the chamber itself. He further highlighted that the most critical records in a state include trade registries, population records, and land registries, underlining the significant role played by registry offices in this regard.
Plaque of Appreciation Presented to ETO
A plaque was presented to the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce during the meeting for its contributions to the establishment of the Registry Academy and its success in these endeavors. The plaque was handed over by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the Director General of Internal Trade, Adem Başar, to Nurşen Öztürk on behalf of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce.
ETO Will Continue to Be a Model Chamber
In his evaluation of the plaque presentation by TOBB to the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce's Trade Registry Office, ETO President Metin Güler stated that ETO continues to be a model for other chambers with its activities, projects, and all its units. Güler noted that ETO is committed to elevating service quality through its assembly, professional committees, and all its units, emphasizing that the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce will continue to strive to be a model chamber.
