In a training session organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, in collaboration with the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce and the Uludağ Exporters' Association, information was provided to exporters in Eskişehir regarding the supports offered by the state.
The "Export Processes and New Generation State Supports Training" was held at the Vehbi Koç Convention Center. More than 50 representatives from small and medium-sized enterprises attended the training, which had limited capacity. Prior to the training, ETO Board Member Emre Demir delivered a brief opening speech. In his speech, Demir stated that Turkey has made significant progress in exports over the past decade, noting that exports increased from $161.5 billion in 2013 to $254.172 billion by 2022.
ETO Will Continue to Support Exporters
Demir pointed out that Eskişehir's exports, which were around $1.5 billion in 2013, reached $4 billion by the end of 2022, including firms that are tax centers outside the city. He mentioned that with new investments, Eskişehir would surpass this figure in a very short time. Demir emphasized that ETO will continue to stand by exporters in Eskişehir and encourage producers, thanking the officials of the Ministry of Trade and the managers of the Uludağ Exporters' Association for their efforts in organizing the event.
Experts Presented Export Supports Through Presentations
During the training, Barış Zeybek from the Ministry of Trade provided information on "New Generation State Aids in Export (Goods Export)," while Fatma Gül Kurt, Assistant Trade Expert, discussed "E-Export Applications / E-Export Supports." Hatice Çavdar, the Allocation Director at Export Development Inc., talked about "The Works of Export Development Inc." Other presentations included "Access to Trade Information, Target Market Identification" by Trade Expert Asım Çalış, "Supports of Türkiye Export Credit Bank Inc." by Funda Baydar Yazan, the Regional Manager of Türk EXİMBANK Central Anatolia, and "Trade Ministry Support Management System" by Export Specialist Göksel Gezer.
