A photo exhibition titled "In Tribute to Ata in the 100th Year," featuring photographs from Atatürk's visits to Eskişehir, has opened at the ETOSANAT Gallery.
The ETOSANAT Gallery is hosting its 66th event with an exhibition showcasing photographs of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, during his visits to Eskişehir. The exhibition, titled "In Tribute to Ata in the 100th Year," consists of photographs from the archives of master photographer Osman Yaşar Tanaçan. The opening of the exhibition was attended by Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt, ETO President Metin Güler, Meclis President Halil İbrahim Ara, and many guests.
Appreciation for Tanaçan’s Support
During the opening, ETO President Metin Güler expressed that they aimed to commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the 85th anniversary of his passing with photographs from his visits to Eskişehir. Güler noted that the photographs in the exhibition were compiled from the archives of master photographer Osman Yaşar Tanaçan and thanked him for his support of the exhibition. Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt emphasized the importance of remembering and preserving Atatürk's legacy forever, thanking the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce for leading the exhibition and photographer Osman Yaşar Tanaçan for his support. Photographer Osman Yaşar Tanaçan stated that he has nearly 5,000 photos of Atatürk in his archive, highlighting that the exhibition features photos from Atatürk's visits to Eskişehir. The "In Tribute to Ata in the 100th Year" photo exhibition at the ETOSANAT Gallery will be open until November 24, 2023.
