E-COMMERCE GİANTS GATHER İN ESKİŞEHİR

The Eskişehir E-Commerce and E-Export Conference, organized by the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with WORLDEF and aZall.com, has commenced, bringing together e-commerce giants with professionals from Eskişehir.

The Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce has added another event to its series aimed at the professional development of its members. The Eskişehir E-Commerce and E-Export Conference is being held under the auspices of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with WORLDEF and aZall.com. The event started on Tuesday, October 10, in the ETO Mustafa Çekiç Assembly Hall, featuring a rich lineup of speakers from national and global e-commerce giants such as alibaba.com, IKAS, and aZall.com, all offered free of charge.

“Eskişehir is an Important Center”

In his opening speech, Sedat Ateş, Marketing Director of WORLDEF Ventures Group, noted that Eskişehir is a significant location for e-commerce and e-export due to its potential. He emphasized the importance of the collaboration with the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, highlighting that Eskişehir hosts significant entrepreneurs in the e-export sector and possesses substantial potential. Ateş reminded the audience that they organize the Eskişehir E-Commerce and E-Export Conference annually and expressed confidence that the event would grow with the brands' interest.

“We Are Here to Play by the Rules”

Emre Demir, a board member of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce and CEO of aZall.com, thanked the participants and stated that those who follow the evolving vision will achieve success. He recalled that according to data released by the Ministry of Trade, one out of every five products sold in Turkey today is sold through e-commerce channels. Demir stressed the necessity of interpreting this increasing rate in favor of e-commerce correctly. He pointed out that traditional commerce targets physical customers while e-commerce aims for 82 million and e-export targets the entire world as its market. To gain a share from this market, he emphasized that one must play according to the rules of the game. He noted that the Eskişehir E-Commerce and E-Export Conference is organized to explain these rules by global and national giants and assured that they will continue to develop the event as part of the ETO E-Commerce Working Group in the future.

A Free Event Hosting Giants

The Eskişehir E-Commerce and E-Export Conference, featuring executives from numerous e-commerce and e-export brands such as alibaba.com, IKAS, and aZall.com, will last for three days, with two days in-person and the last day held online. The event is being conducted entirely free of charge, with a carefully selected audience of applicants participating.
