The Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) commenced its 130th anniversary celebration activities with a bicycle tour held on the 101st anniversary of Eskişehir's liberation from enemy occupation.
The bicycle tour, titled "In Memory of the Liberation," was initiated by ETO President Metin Güler, Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara, and board members. Before the start of the event, President Güler highlighted that ETO is one of the oldest chambers in the country, celebrating its 130th anniversary this year. He announced that ETO would commemorate this milestone with a series of events and activities, including exhibitions, tours, and other festivities.
A Series of Events and Activities Planned for the 130th Year
Güler mentioned that a prestigious publication has been prepared for the 130th anniversary, noting that the latest issue of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce Magazine will be published specifically to mark this occasion. He expressed his happiness and pride in starting the 130th anniversary celebrations with the bicycle tour coinciding with the 101st anniversary of Eskişehir's liberation. Güler thanked all participants in the tour and concluded by honoring the memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, and all martyrs and veterans.
Bicycle Associations and Members Joined the Tour
Starting from the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce and Industry Museum (ETOMÜZE), the bicycle tour involved participation from various local bicycle associations and groups, as well as ETO members, and concluded at Sümer Park. At the end of the bicycle tour, a raffle was held, and various prizes were awarded to participants.
