AHMET ARA DISABILITY-FRIENDLY DAYCARE CENTER AND NURSERY OPENED

The Ahmet Ara Disability-Friendly Daycare Center and Nursery, established by Halil İbrahim Ara, President of the ETO Assembly, was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by protocol members and representatives from the business community.

The daycare center and nursery, named after Halil İbrahim Ara's son, was opened on June 23, with a ceremony that included ETO President Metin Güler, ETO Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara, and members of the ETO board and assembly. The event was also attended by CHP Eskişehir Members of Parliament Jale Nur Süllü and İbrahim Arslan, Odunpazarı District Governor Ömer Ulu, Tepebaşı District Governor Mustafa Yılmaz, Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt, Beylikova Mayor Özkan Alp, Sivrihisar Mayor Hamid Yüzügüllü, Mahmudiye Mayor İshak Gündoğan, OMEP World President Mercedes Mayol Lassal, Turkey Journalists Federation President and Eskişehir Journalists Association President Yılmaz Karaca, along with various representatives from the business community. Ahmet Ara, along with his family and relatives, also attended the ceremony.

Ara: "We Set Out to Provide Fair Education for Disabled Children"

In his speech at the event, ETO Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara shared that, together with his late wife Fatma Ara, they decided to establish a nursery for disabled children in Eskişehir to enhance their lives and make a difference for them and their families. He expressed hope that disabled children would benefit from fair education and development opportunities. Ara noted that, with the support of Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt, they completed the Ahmet Ara Disability-Friendly Daycare Center and Nursery to serve the precious children and their families.

Thanks to Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara

ETO President Metin Güler thanked Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara and Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt for facilitating the opening of such an important facility for the city and the region. Tepebaşı District Governor Mustafa Yılmaz also expressed gratitude to Halil İbrahim Ara and Kazım Kurt for bringing a pioneering establishment to Eskişehir. Odunpazarı District Governor Ömer Ulu highlighted that Eskişehir is the city of Yunus Emre and thanked Ara for leaving behind such a meaningful project.

The Name Ahmet Ara Will Live On in the Nursery

CHP Eskişehir MP İbrahim Arslan stated that a very valuable project emerged from the collaboration between Odunpazarı Municipality and ETO Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara, emphasizing that this establishment should serve as an example for all businesspeople. Jale Nur Süllü noted that the facility demonstrates that all obstacles exist in the hearts and that overcoming these barriers leads to overcoming difficulties. Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt mentioned that the facility established by Halil İbrahim Ara is significant not only for Eskişehir but also for Turkey. He added that the name Ahmet Ara would live on in the nursery, which will educate 60 children. Kurt stated that 11 teachers would work at the nursery, and a total of 15 staff members would be provided by the municipality, thanking Halil İbrahim Ara for his support in opening the facility. After the speeches, the protocol cut the ribbon and inspected the Ahmet Ara Disability-Friendly Daycare Center and Nursery.
