EUROPEAN FİLMS WEEK DRAWS ENTHUSİASTİC AUDİENCES İN ESKİŞEHİR

The European Films Week, organized by the Eskişehir EU Information Center under the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO), attracted 840 film enthusiasts to the screenings of 16 films.

Hosted by the Eskişehir EU Information Center and supported by the European Union Delegation to Turkey and the embassies of EU member states, the "European Films Week" took place in Eskişehir. The event showcased a diverse selection of 16 European films, highlighting various cultures and themes, at the Kanatlı AVM Cinema Pink from June 16 to June 22, all offered free of charge to moviegoers. Films from Bulgaria, France, Spain, Estonia, Poland, Belgium, Ireland, Sweden, the Netherlands, Austria, Malta, Italy, Finland, Lithuania, and Germany were warmly received by the audience.

Dutch and Finnish Diplomats Joined the Audience

Among the films screened during the European Films Week was "Wild Amsterdam," which was attended by Dutch Consulate Cultural Attaché David Naves, Cultural Advisor Recep Tuna, Cultural Unit staff member Talitha Smit, Second Secretary Soleiman Ghafouri from the Dutch Embassy in Ankara, and Cultural Advisor Eray Ergeç. For the screening of the film "Aurora," Janne Leskinen, Second Secretary at the Finnish Embassy in Ankara, and Media Information Officer Ebru Çelikten were also in attendance.

The European Films Week, which began its journey in Eskişehir and Trabzon, will continue with screenings in İzmir from September 11-16 and will conclude with simultaneous showings in Antalya, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Edirne, Mersin, and Samsun from September 22-28.
