The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Istanbul, Johannes Regenbrecht, visited the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO). During the meeting, which focused on potential collaborations between Eskişehir’s traders and industrialists and Germany, Consul General Regenbrecht emphasized that cooperation with Eskişehir is a priority for him.
ETO added a new connection to its international relations as Consul General Regenbrecht was hosted by ETO Board Members Emre Demir and Hüsnü Ünalan. Regenbrecht expressed his pleasure in visiting ETO, stressing that collaborating with Eskişehir is a top priority.

ETO Board Member Emre Demir stated that creating new opportunities for Eskişehir’s traders and industrialists is a priority, with internationalization being a key area. He highlighted services provided by ETO, from the EU Information Center to clustering initiatives, fair visits, and the visa office. Demir also provided information about ETO's investment in the Eskişehir Fair and Congress Center.
Visa Issues Discussed
ETO Board Member Hüsnü Ünalan addressed the challenges members face in obtaining Schengen visas, sharing information about ETO's agreements with Italy, France, and Hungary. He emphasized ETO's commitment to facilitating a similar agreement with Germany and noted ETO's readiness to act as a guarantor for members in the visa process.
