DUTCH ENGAGEMENTS CONTINUE FOR COMPANIES IN THE ESİYAK PROJECT

Members of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) in the IT and software sector are actively pursuing international marketing efforts, including their visit to the Netherlands as part of the Eskişehir Innovation Software and R&D Clustering (ESİYAK) project.

Led by ETO President Metin Güler, the delegation met with Turkish Ambassador to The Hague, Şaban Dişli, and Commercial Counselor Aşkın Pekel. During the visit, Güler emphasized the promising future of the software and IT sector and ETO’s commitment to turning Eskişehir-based companies into global brands. He noted that, in collaboration with ATAP and with support from the Ministry of Trade, the ESİYAK project aims to boost Eskişehir’s value-added exports and support growth for companies in the software and IT sectors.

The Rapid Growth of the IT Sector

Ambassador Şaban Dişli expressed his satisfaction with the visit, stating that he is ready to support ETO’s software and IT companies in establishing connections and meeting potential clients in the Netherlands. He highlighted the significance of the IT sector in the Netherlands, sharing insights with the delegation on export channels, taxation, and company formation processes in the country.

Engagements at the Heart of the Dutch Technology Hub

Commercial Counselor Aşkın Pekel underscored the importance of business partnerships and visits in the software and IT fields, predicting positive outcomes from ETO’s comprehensive engagement efforts. The Dutch visit includes a tour of Amsterdam Science Park, home to research institutes, universities, and around 170 companies, meetings with firms involved in Startup Amsterdam, and participation in sessions at the DevOps Summit. These engagements are set to further strengthen ETO’s presence and networking in the Dutch tech sector.
