Top executives from Turkey’s and Eskişehir’s leading companies shared their experiences in business at panels during the 21st Eskişehir Quality Festival.
The Vehbi Koç Congress Center hosted the 21st Eskişehir Quality Festival, organized in cooperation with the Eskişehir branch of KALDER and the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO), on Wednesday, September 28. The festival’s opening ceremony was attended by ETO President Metin Güler, Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) President Nadir Küpeli, KALDER Board Chairman Yılmaz Bayraktar, and many guests. During the festival, OSB President Nadir Küpeli signed the National Quality Movement Goodwill Declaration on behalf of the Private Eskişehir OSB Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
We Prioritize Developing Quality and Performance Systems
Speaking at the event’s opening, ETO President Metin Güler emphasized the chamber's dedication to developing quality and performance systems, noting that they continue to introduce new initiatives in this area. He highlighted ETO’s numerous collaborations with KALDER’s Eskişehir Branch and added that ETO will continue to support quality, service, and satisfaction initiatives for both the chamber and its member companies.

KALDER Chairman Yılmaz Bayraktar expressed happiness and pride at returning to an in-person festival after two years of online events due to the pandemic. He emphasized their mission to make quality culture a way of life and to enhance Turkey’s prosperity and competitiveness. Bayraktar thanked the KALDER Eskişehir Branch, which has organized the festival regularly for 21 years, and the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce for supporting this year’s event. Gökan Akın, Chairman of KALDER’s Eskişehir Branch, stated that they organized the 21st Eskişehir Quality Festival with ETO’s support, where local and national industry leaders would share their experiences throughout the day.

Executives from Turkey’s and Eskişehir’s leading companies participated in four panels and a final special session, drawing significant interest from attendees. The panel titled “What Matters! SUSTAINABILITY” featured Seçkin Consulting General Manager Celal Seçkin and Maysan Mando General Manager Tülay Hacıoğlu Şengül, who shared their insights and experiences in business. In the “What Matters! APPROACH” panel, Kayseri Model Factory General Manager Salih Yalçın, Millennium Metal Chairman Metin Kantarcı, and Armor Heat Transfer Chairman Mahmut Köksal discussed their perspectives on the business world.

In the panel “What Matters! SUCCESS,” Haier Dryer and Dishwasher Factory Director Kemal Çayırlı, Ford Otosan Eskişehir Factory Truck Area Leader Namık Kemal Keskin, and Demir Döküm Board Member (Industrial) and Factory Director Ahmet Şen shared their experiences on achieving success in production and planning. In a special session titled “Quality as a Lifestyle,” Clinical Psychologist Beyhan Budak discussed the importance of quality in both work and life.
