A DAY OF MOURNING FOR THE ESKIŞEHİR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The wife of Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara, Fatma Ara, and the Assembly Clerk Mustafa Çekiç along with his wife Özlem Tekgöz Çekiç, who tragically lost their lives in a traffic accident, were laid to rest with prayers. The funeral ceremony, held on Wednesday, August 24, at the Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Mosque, was attended by protocol members, chamber presidents, business representatives, members of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, and many others. Following the afternoon prayer, the late Fatma Ara, Mustafa Çekiç, and Özlem Tekgöz Çekiç were buried. ETO President Metin Güler expressed his gratitude on social media, stating, “We have bid farewell to our Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara’s dear wife Fatma Ara, our Assembly Clerk Mustafa Çekiç, and his wife Özlem Çekiç. I wholeheartedly thank the members of the protocol, our ETO community, business representatives, and all friends who stood by us on this difficult day.”
