In collaboration with the Ministry of National Education’s General Directorate of Lifelong Learning, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Board, and OPET, the "Our Business Is Clean" project has launched in-person training sessions at public education centers.
The "Our Business Is Clean" Hygiene Training is provided free of charge to small businesses in the food and beverage, hospitality, and transportation sectors, as well as to other business owners, employees, and individuals seeking to improve hygiene standards. The project aims to enhance businesses’ hygiene capacity, boost their appeal, and increase their revenues. Currently, it is being conducted in 20 cities, including Eskişehir. Interested individuals can register for the program at public education centers or online via e-yaygin.meb.gov.tr.
TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board President Elif Gürkaynak emphasized the importance of Eskişehir's inclusion in this project and invited women-owned businesses to benefit from the training. She expressed hope that the training would benefit businesses and reiterated her commitment to supporting projects that empower women entrepreneurs.
In addition to free training, the "Our Business Is Clean" project offers various advantages for individuals and businesses. Participants receive a Ministry of National Education-approved course completion certificate, along with the option to request a Europass Certificate Supplement. This supplement provides a lifelong vocational qualification, giving holders an edge when applying for jobs in European countries. Graduates can also directly take the journeyman’s exam without an apprenticeship. Registered businesses completing the training receive a personalized "Our Business Is Clean Certificate," a sticker, a manifesto poster, and a cleaning checklist as part of the "Our Business Is Clean Kit," as well as OPET benefits.
Currently active in Eskişehir, Adıyaman, Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, Edirne, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, Konya, Mersin, Muğla, Nevşehir, Samsun, and Şanlıurfa, the project aims to expand to all 81 provinces in Turkey with the support of online training.
