ETO President Güler and his delegation, along with Eskişehir Chamber of Architects President Altıntaş, met with the Turkish Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, in Ankara to convey requests regarding the building inspection sector and parking regulations. AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Emine Nur Günay also participated in the meeting, supporting the Eskişehir delegation.
Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler, TMMOB Chamber of Architects Eskişehir Branch President Didar Duygu Altuntaş, ETO board members İsmail Çavdar and Özgür Alp, and ETO Assembly Member Yasin Uğur Arıkan met with Minister Murat Kurum in Ankara to discuss the demands and issues related to the building inspection sector and parking regulations. AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Emine Nur Günay was also present, supporting the Eskişehir delegation.
Minister Kurum Stated That the Requests Will Be Considered
During the meeting, the primary demands of companies in the construction sector, issues in the building inspection sector, and difficulties related to parking regulations were expressed by the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce and TMMOB Chamber of Architects Eskişehir Branch. Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, stated that the sector's requests are important and will be taken into account by the ministry, adding that the issues raised in the meeting would be reviewed.
We Are Working in Ankara to Resolve the Sector's Problems
Commenting on the meeting, ETO President Metin Güler stated that they had received numerous requests from members regarding the building inspection sector and parking regulations. He mentioned that they are making efforts to resolve these issues not only in Eskişehir but also in Ankara. Güler pointed out that the sector is particularly concerned about not being able to carry out construction in city streets and downtown areas due to parking regulations, which negatively affects housing supply. He also thanked AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Emine Nur Günay for her continuous support and efforts to resolve the issues from the beginning of the process.
