The Eskişehir Trade and Industry Museum (ETOMÜZE) continues to welcome visitors of all ages. The latest guests at ETOMÜZE were the 1/D class students from Halil Yasin Primary School, who enjoyed a day filled with fun and learning as part of the "Learning in the Museum" event. Accompanied by an expert guide, the young students explored the museum and even held their unit lessons there. They were introduced to the concepts of archaeology, cultural heritage, and the importance and rules of museums through hands-on activities led by a museum specialist.
Students Design Posters and Do Coloring Activities
Inspired by the exhibits, the young students created posters about ETOMÜZE and the importance of museums and engaged in coloring activities using the ETOMÜZE coloring book. ETOMÜZE Supervisor Hakan Kuru shared insights about the “Learning in the Museum” event, stating that they aim to instill a love and awareness of museums in children, who are the future leaders, within the unique ETOMÜZE environment. Kuru emphasized the importance of teaching students appropriate museum etiquette and showing them that museums are educational spaces, not just places to visit and take photos. ETOMÜZE welcomes all educational institutions, and schools interested in organizing activities can schedule a visit by calling (0222) 231 55 00.
