ETO President Metin Güler, along with his delegation, visited Brussels to promote the Discover Eskişehir project, which aims to enhance Eskişehir's health and cultural tourism, establish a health tourism cluster, and attract new investors to the city. Güler's first visit was to Turkish Ambassador to Brussels, Hasan Ulusoy. Güler explained that Discover Eskişehir aims to strengthen both health and cultural tourism in Eskişehir and attract the latest generation of citizens to the city, noting that Eskişehir is well-equipped in terms of health services and tourism infrastructure. He stated that they wanted to take the initial steps for Discover Eskişehir in Belgium, one of the countries with the highest number of expatriates from Eskişehir. He added that they plan to engage with numerous associations and hundreds of businesspeople. Ambassador Hasan Ulusoy expressed gratitude for the visit and confirmed the embassy’s readiness to support the Discover Eskişehir project.
Full Support from Saint-Josse-ten-Noode Mayor Kır
ETO President Metin Güler and his delegation also met with Saint-Josse-ten-Noode Mayor Emir Kır to provide information about the Discover Eskişehir project. Güler reiterated their intention to launch the initiative in Belgium, where over 80,000 citizens from Eskişehir reside, hoping that recent-generation investors from Belgium would visit Eskişehir and bring Belgian businesspeople with them. Mayor Emir Kır expressed his pleasure at the visit and confirmed his full support for the project, stating he was impressed by ETO’s influence and strength, particularly regarding the reopening of the airport. Additionally, Kır offered to send athletes and groups to support health tourism in Eskişehir.
