The chairs of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly from the Central Anatolia region convened in Eskişehir, hosted by the TOBB Eskişehir Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, to discuss their activities in 2021 and plans for the upcoming year.
The meeting was presided over by Gülper Gündüz Yassı, President of the TOBB Central Anatolia Region and Nevşehir Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, and hosted by Elif Gürkaynak, President of the TOBB Eskişehir Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly. Attendees included Tuğbahan İlgü, President of the TOBB Kayseri Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, Hatice Tulukçu Erkan, President of the TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, Hatice Kangal, President of the Kırşehir Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, Meziyet Genç, President of the TOBB Sivas Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, Gülhan Karaca, President of the TOBB Yozgat Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, and Sezgi Çiğdem from the TOBB Entrepreneurship Department. Goncagül Bilen, President of the Niğde Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, participated via teleconference.
Setting the Path for Entrepreneurship in 2022
In her opening remarks, Elif Gürkaynak expressed her pleasure in hosting the women entrepreneurs’ assembly chairs from Central Anatolia in Eskişehir. She noted that this final meeting of the year would evaluate the activities of 2021 and review plans for 2022. Gürkaynak emphasized that the TOBB women entrepreneurs’ assemblies work across the country to increase the number of entrepreneurial women, boost employment, and grow the economy. She stated that the meeting would outline the direction of women entrepreneurs’ assemblies in Central Anatolia for the year 2022.
Support for Women Cooperatives in 2021
During the meeting, Gürkaynak also spoke about the activities carried out in 2021, highlighting their efforts to support women cooperatives, increase production, and boost the number of women entrepreneurs in the past year. She assured that in 2022, they would continue to work with excitement and determination to contribute to the development of both Eskişehir and Turkey.
