The fundraising campaign for Eskişehir's SMA Type 2 patient, Toprak, has reached 100%. On November 21, a recital featuring world-renowned Eskişehir pianist Gökhan Aybulus and violinist Hakan Şensoy will take place to support the family’s treatment expenses, organized with the assistance of the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce.
The good news that Eskişehir residents have been waiting for has finally arrived; the fundraising campaign for SMA Type 2 patient Toprak has been completed. With the required amount for his treatment successfully raised, the necessary arrangements for Toprak’s treatment process have begun. The community of Eskişehir united as one heart in the fundraising efforts for Toprak, and the volunteers are taking another step in their support.
Farewell with a Charity Concert
The volunteers, led by Sema Güral Sürmeli, Gökhan Aybulus, and Sevil Kırdemir, have completed the necessary work to finalize Toprak’s fundraising campaign and provide the support needed for the family's overseas stay during the treatment process. The world-renowned Eskişehir pianist and faculty member at Anadolu University State Conservatory, Gökhan Aybulus, along with Hakan Şensoy, a faculty member at ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory and violinist, will perform a recital on Sunday, November 21, at the Vehbi Koç Congress Center.
Full Support from the Chamber of Commerce
In addition to the voluntary performances by the artists for the charity concert, the Chamber of Commerce has also extended its support. The Vehbi Koç Congress Center, located within the Eskişehir Fair and Congress Center and known for hosting distinguished performances, has been allocated by the Chamber of Commerce for the charity concert. Volunteers supporting Toprak will also have the opportunity to experience a unique concert event.
