FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR FASHION ESKİŞEHİR

The pre-selection jury for Fashion Eskişehir has determined the finalists competing in three categories, attracting interest from young designers across Turkey.

In the Eskişehir Fashion Design Competition organized by the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Ministry of Trade, Eskişehir Technical University, and the TOBB Eskişehir Women Entrepreneurs Council, another stage has been completed. The finalists for the Fashion Eskişehir - Eskişehir Fashion Design Competition have been announced.

15 Semi-Finalists Selected in 3 Different Categories

The jury, consisting of Eskişehir Technical University (ESTÜ) faculty members Prof. Yüksel Şahin, Prof. Dr. Nilay Ertürk, Dr. Şakir Özüdoğru, ETO Council Member Kerem Can Apaydın, and fashion designers Fulya Yaba and Setenay Ay, evaluated 340 designs submitted from all over Turkey. As a result of their assessment, 15 semi-finalists were selected across three different categories. The names of the semi-finalists can be found on the official website, www.fashioneskisehir.com.

Designs to be Turned into Clothing by ETO Member Firms

The semi-finalists are required to transform their designs into garments with the help of ETO member firms by December 12, 2021. The final evaluations will take place between December 13 and December 20, 2021, after which the designers who qualify for first, second, and third place in the three different categories will be announced on December 21, 2021. The competition will culminate in a fashion show and award ceremony on January 16, 2022, at the Vehbi Koç Congress Center.
