WE CELEBRATE OUR REPUBLIC DAY WITH PRIDE AND JOY

As the esteemed Turkish nation, we proudly and excitedly celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of our republic.

Under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our nation fought unprecedented battles to liberate our homeland from enemy occupation; with the establishment of the republic, we gained the right to determine our own future.

Despite being a new country, Turkey has, as Atatürk said, "achieved great things in a short time"; it has made significant accomplishments in various fields, from trade to industry and from education to social life.

Undoubtedly, the determination and efforts of our nation, along with the desire to leave a more developed and prosperous country to future generations, have played a crucial role in these successes.

It is a patriotic duty for everyone living in our country today to act with this belief and desire, striving to advance Turkey further.

As the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, we will continue to fulfill this duty and work to leave a stronger Turkey to our children.

With these feelings and thoughts, we celebrate our Republic Day on October 29 with enthusiasm and pride, and we respectfully, gratefully, and with compassion remember our founder, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all our heroes.
