ECONOMİC MEETİNG HELD BETWEEN ETO AND SİVRİHİSAR MUNİCİPALİTY

Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) President Metin Güler and his accompanying delegation visited Sivrihisar Mayor Hamid Yüzügüllü to assess the economic activities in the district.

Accompanied by the assembly board and board of directors, Güler conducted various inspections and meetings in Sivrihisar. During this visit, the ETO delegation first met with Mayor Yüzügüllü to gather information on tourism, commerce, industry, and infrastructure efforts in the district. In his remarks, Güler emphasized that the development of districts directly impacts the city's growth, highlighting that progress begins locally. He noted that ETO has provided both financial and moral support for the establishment of the Sivrihisar Organized Industrial Zone (OSB), stating that it will play a significant role in the district's development.

Geographically Indicated Products Will Contribute to the Economy

Güler also mentioned that the registration of geographically indicated products can contribute to the development of districts. He stated that ETO has successfully registered Sivrihisar’s Incili Earrings and Cebesi, along with Sorkun Pottery, in the name of Eskişehir. Güler reiterated that the chamber continues to work towards increasing the number of registered geographically indicated products, emphasizing that the promotion and marketing of these products will positively affect the local economy.

Continued Support for the Development of Sivrihisar

Praising Mayor Hamid Yüzügüllü for undertaking significant projects that will change the face of the district and increase its visibility, Güler noted that steps taken toward both trade and tourism have great potential. He congratulated Yüzügüllü and his team for their vision and successful efforts, affirming that ETO will continue to support the development of Sivrihisar.

Expressing his gratitude for the visit, Mayor Yüzügüllü highlighted their dedicated efforts to enhance the district's infrastructure and tourism potential, stating that they are seeing the fruits of their labor. He noted that Sivrihisar is gaining momentum and emphasized the commitment to turning this momentum into increased employment and investment within the district.
