The Eskişehir EU Information Center, operating under the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, organized various activities in preschools and primary schools in honor of World Environment Day.
From June 14-16, with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, a “Lokum with Environment Day” event was held. Educational activities were conducted in Kurtuluş, Maraşel Fevzi Çakmak, 23 Nisan, Milli İrade, and Korgeneral Lütfü Akdemir Primary Schools, as well as Seçil Akkurt and Eczacı Faruk Erden Preschools. Through professional storytelling and creative drama leaders, students engaged in “Zero Pollution” themed activities aimed at raising awareness about environmental pollution. The event also included readings from the EU Delegation’s Lokum book series, allowing students to explore improvisational exercises. In total, 520 students from seven schools enjoyed learning through interactive and fun activities.
