The B2B Meetings, held concurrently with the Eskişehir Industry Fair, concluded after a total of 633 meetings were conducted over four days.
Organized by the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, and Tüyap, the B2B Meetings took place alongside the Eskişehir Industry Fair from June 9-12. Over these four days, Eskişehir’s industrialists met 633 times with key defense industry companies and other exhibitors, marking a first for Eskişehir. The meetings provided a platform for Eskişehir’s industrialists to explore collaborations with both leading defense companies and other fair participants.
Optimism Among Eskişehir’s Industrialists
ETO President Metin Güler expressed satisfaction with the simultaneous success of the fair and the B2B meetings. Güler noted that the meetings allowed SMEs looking to expand and build connections to meet with major defense and industrial companies. He remarked that Eskişehir companies left the meetings hopeful about potential collaborations. Güler emphasized that these sessions created a unique opportunity for both large companies seeking new suppliers and small firms looking to expand their operations.
Aiming for International B2B Meetings in 2022
Noting that some firms could not participate in the B2B Meetings due to high demand and a limited schedule, Güler stated that in 2022, they aim to expand the meetings to include domestic and international participants, provided that pandemic risks subside. He highlighted that the success of the B2B Meetings was the result of coordinated efforts by the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, Eskişehir OSB, and Tüyap.
