ETO HİGHLİGHTS COVİD-19 PRECAUTİONS WİTH MASK DİSTRİBUTİON

To prevent further closures and emphasize the importance of protection against Covid-19 in workplaces, the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) distributed over 5,000 reusable masks to restaurants, cafes, and dining establishments.

ETO initiated the distribution of reusable masks with the slogan "Continue Working in Health" to emphasize the importance of protective measures in workplaces and to support the continuity of business activities. The masks, designed to be worn alongside surgical masks, were delivered to restaurants, cafes, and dining establishments that have reopened under controlled normalization measures. With these 5,000 masks, ETO aims to raise awareness of the significance of precautions in the service sector, which has been deeply impacted by the pandemic.

President Güler: "Another Lockdown Means Permanent Damage"

ETO President Metin Güler commented on the initiative, stressing that the service sector has faced significant hardship from Covid-19 restrictions for more than a year. “Protecting ourselves from Covid-19 and reducing case numbers are crucial to prevent disruptions in business life. The trajectory of the pandemic closely affects the service sector in particular. We cannot afford another lockdown. More importantly, we cannot bring back the lives we have lost. We must now overcome this virus. As Eskişehir’s business community, we demonstrate and remind others of this commitment physically. We expect the same sensitivity from all our citizens, hoping to reach healthier days together. Thank you to all residents of Eskişehir who follow the rules!” said Güler.
