ETO President Metin Güler announced that applications for the TOBB Breath Loan have begun with partner banks, noting that the financial support provided by the chamber during the pandemic has surpassed 100 million lira.
Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler outlined the terms of the TOBB Breath Loan, which is available to ETO members affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Güler stated that applications have opened for the loan, provided through the chamber’s resources and TOBB’s support. Members with 2020 revenue at least 25% lower than in 2019 can benefit from the loan. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a 2020 turnover of up to 1 million lira are eligible to receive up to 50,000 TL in credit.
Financial Support Provided Throughout the Pandemic
Güler explained that the loan interest rate is set at 17.5% annually, with repayments structured in 12 equal installments following a six-month grace period. Starting from June 1, members can apply for the loan through Ziraat Bank, Vakıflar Bank, Halk Bank, İş Bank, Garanti Bank, Yapı Kredi Bank, Akbank, Denizbank, Ziraat Participation Bank, and Vakıf Participation Bank. Highlighting ETO’s commitment to mobilizing all resources for its members, Güler shared that the chamber had provided approximately 77 million lira in financial support during the pandemic. With the latest loan, the total financial aid to members during the pandemic will reach 102 million lira.
