We proudly and joyfully celebrate the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day for our children, who are the future of our country.
Our Grand National Assembly, established under the leadership of our Great Founder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, played a vital role in liberating our homeland from enemies under challenging conditions and laid the foundation of today’s Turkey.
The fact that the opening day of our parliament, established by our heroic ancestors, was gifted as a holiday to our children, our future, demonstrates the value our nation places on its youth.
Our duty is to work tirelessly and fearlessly to leave a more developed country to our children in every aspect.
With these thoughts and feelings, we wholeheartedly celebrate the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of our children, who will build Turkey’s future, and commemorate with gratitude and respect our Republic’s Founder, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all our heroes.
