ETO President Metin Güler stated that establishing a Creative Industries Free Zone in Eskişehir would be a significant asset for the city’s economy.
Commenting on the initiative led by ATAP to establish a Creative Industries Free Zone in Eskişehir, Güler emphasized the potential economic gains for the city. “As the Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, we view creative and innovative sectors as the industries of the future and are committed to fostering Eskişehir’s growth in this direction. Our Eskişehir Innovation, Software, and R&D Clustering efforts under the Service Sector Competitiveness Enhancement Project (HİSER), in cooperation with ATAP and supported by the Ministry of Trade, reflect this vision. We believe that Eskişehir must increase the production of high-value-added products and has the skilled workforce and experience to create new global brands in creative fields,” Güler stated.
Opening New Horizons for Eskişehir’s Industry
Güler remarked that the Creative Industries Free Zone project aligns with this vision. “The Creative Industries Free Zone project, supported by Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone President Nadir Küpeli and requested from the Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, will bring considerable benefits to Eskişehir’s economy. This project will enable Eskişehir, known for producing high-value-added products, to make a mark in innovative and creative sectors and host companies that can compete globally in these fields. I believe that establishing a Creative Industries Free Zone in Eskişehir could open new horizons for our industry and significantly contribute to our country’s exports,” he added.
