Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) President Metin Güler met with Ghana’s Trade Attaché, Patrick Osei Bonsu, to discuss enhancing bilateral relations and exploring mutual trade opportunities. Güler emphasized their commitment to enabling Eskişehir businesspeople to expand their trade activities worldwide.
During his visit, Güler expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and highlighted efforts to grow Eskişehir’s exports and increase the share of industrial members in international trade. He outlined activities aimed at promoting Eskişehir's industrial sector globally and expanding business networks for local industrialists, mentioning the upcoming Eskişehir Industry Fair in June, supported by Eskişehir OSB. Güler also noted a desire to connect Eskişehir businesspeople with Ghana’s market potential, reaffirming ETO's goal of facilitating global business opportunities for its members.
Ghana Views Eskişehir as a Key Partner
Ghana’s Trade Attaché, Patrick Osei Bonsu, stated that his visit aimed to share information about Ghana’s trade programs and investment support for potential partners. He recognized Eskişehir’s trade and industrial potential, emphasizing that Ghana sees Eskişehir as an important partner. Bonsu highlighted Ghana’s additional support for strategic industries, including petrochemicals, iron-steel, aluminum, pharmaceuticals, automotive raw materials, textiles, and vegetable oils. He expressed enthusiasm about encouraging Eskişehir businesspeople in these sectors toward investment and cooperation. Bonsu also suggested the potential for collaboration between the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ETO to foster joint business initiatives.
