A meeting organized on ETOTV provided detailed insights into the opportunities Poland offers for Eskişehir’s white goods supplier industry and the country’s economic situation.
ETOTV continues to expand the horizons of Eskişehir’s economic players through informative training sessions and seminars. This time, ETOTV organized an event to enhance Eskişehir’s cooperation in the white goods sector and inform suppliers about new market opportunities. The Poland White Goods and Supplier Industry Promotion and Business Opportunities meeting was held with the participation of ETO President Metin Güler and Turkey’s Warsaw Trade Counselor, Attila Kızılarslan.
We Value the Growth of Our Supplier Industry
Speaking at the event, Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler noted that 60% of refrigerator production and 95% of cooling compressors in Turkey are produced in Eskişehir, emphasizing that this potential also directs the city’s supplier industry. Güler mentioned that the ETO works to enhance the production and trade capabilities of supplier companies in Eskişehir. Although the pandemic prevented in-person visits and meetings, they have organized conferences via telecommunication to achieve this goal.
Commercial Opportunities in the Country Continue to Grow
Turkey's Warsaw Trade Counselor Attila Kızılarslan provided detailed information on the economic volume between Turkey and Poland, the potential of Poland's white goods sector, and the opportunities it offers to employers and investors. He stated that Poland has made significant economic progress since joining the European Union and that EU funds have been utilized in technology, infrastructure, and education. Kızılarslan highlighted that Poland has recently become one of the fastest-growing countries in the EU, bringing commercial opportunities along with this growth.
Embassy Support for Businesspeople from Eskişehir
Kızılarslan also noted that Poland, as the "backyard" of the EU market, attracts investors from both developed and developing countries, making it an appealing place to conduct business and develop exports. He underscored that Poland continues to increase its exports and attract foreign capital, and stated that the embassy is ready to support businesspeople from Eskişehir in advancing mutual trade.
