Authors, academics, and trainers shared their insights on the post-pandemic developments awaiting employees and employers, innovations in the global economy, leadership, and corporate identity at a panel held on ETOTV.
The Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce added a new event to its lineup of activities aimed at expanding the vision of its members. A three-part panel titled "Next-Generation Management Strategies During and After the Pandemic" was hosted on ETOTV, with each session lasting one hour. Moderated by Fatih Uğural, a member of the Eskişehir Young Entrepreneurs Board, the first session featured economist and author Dr. Fatih Anıl, who shared his experiences on new work models, the economic and professional impacts of the pandemic, post-pandemic economic trends, company management, and digitalization. Academic Ardan Ergüven discussed the significance of corporate identity, the essential elements of good design, the importance of a logo for brand recognition, and the process of creating effective designs.
The Importance of Leadership in Business Success
The second session, titled "Remote Work and Leadership," was moderated by Elif Gürkaynak, President of the TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women's Entrepreneurs Board. Author Mehmet Yıldırım Özel, known for his book Servant Leadership, explained the concept of “leadership that brings distances closer” and emphasized the importance of listening, dialogue, valuing, and inclusion in leadership. Ümit Anıl, author of Don’t Pretend, discussed the ideal characteristics of leadership, the impact of a leader’s attitude and behavior on company success and performance, and the role of leaders in motivation management.
The Present and Future of E-Commerce Addressed
The final part of the panel, titled "Next-Generation Sales Strategies," was moderated by ETO Board Member Yasin Bakılan. Tamer Demirdelen, author of Persuasion: The Game Begins Now, discussed the importance of persuasion in business, various persuasive methods, and the influence of motivation on success. Mustafa Erkayhan, author of E-Start, shared insights on the growing importance of e-commerce, what is needed to increase e-commerce volume, and his views on e-commerce—from product selection to marketing—supported by real-life examples.
