Fuel tanker meter inspections, previously conducted outside the city, were held in Eskişehir with the support of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) and the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) Certification Directorate in Eskişehir.
ETO and TSE collaborated to facilitate fuel tanker meter inspections within Eskişehir. Initiated by the request of ETO’s 17th Trade Committee and supported by TSE’s Certification Directorate, the inspections were conducted at Teksan Vehicle Control Center by TSE experts from Ankara. A total of 43 tankers, belonging to 26 ETO member companies, underwent meter inspections at the local center.
Positive feedback from companies
ETO President Metin Güler, Assembly President Halil İbrahim Ara, Board Members Orhan Köksal and Özgür Alp, and Fuel Products and LPG Trade Committee Chairman Yavuz Metin visited Teksan Vehicle Control Center during the inspections. President Güler expressed his gratitude to TSE Eskişehir Certification Director İsmail Kaynarca for the support, noting that ETO members in the fuel sector were very satisfied with the local inspection arrangement.
ETO continues to advocate for member requests
Güler emphasized that ETO’s professional committees represent 40 different trade groups, facilitating members’ communication with relevant institutions and supporting problem-solving initiatives. In the past year alone, ETO’s committees held over 500 meetings, interactions, and initiatives. Güler affirmed ETO’s commitment to supporting members’ needs and easing trade operations in Eskişehir.
