The Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) has contributed 70 keyboard-equipped tablets to the campaign initiated by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) to support education.
ETO continues its efforts to support education, providing 70 tablets as part of TOBB’s campaign aimed at aiding students in need. The tablets were handed over to Eskişehir Provincial Director of National Education Hakan Cırıt during a ceremony held at ETO.
We will continue to contribute to education
Speaking at the ceremony, ETO President Metin Güler reminded attendees that ETO has already established two schools in Eskişehir and emphasized their ongoing commitment to supporting education within their means. Güler also mentioned that in 2020, ETO provided scholarships to 104 university students and expressed his satisfaction with contributing to distance education through the donation of tablets with the support of TOBB.
Education should be conducted in cooperation with the city
Eskişehir Provincial Director of National Education Hakan Cırıt highlighted the significant growth of distance education during the pandemic and stressed the importance of ensuring that all students in need can access this form of learning. He emphasized that education should be conducted in collaboration with all organizations in the city, from associations to chambers, and noted that education is also the key to development. Cırıt thanked ETO for its generous support.
