BANKKART SUPPLY CHAIN SUPPORT FOR ETO MEMBERS

Thanks to a protocol signed with Ziraat Bank, ETO members will be able to purchase products with payment terms of up to 18 months through the Bankkart Başak Supply Chain. Additionally, ETO members will be able to conduct their business transactions safely and at low cost without the need for checks or promissory notes using Bankkart Başak.

The Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce (ETO) has launched another collaboration to help its members access financing, facilitate trade, and ensure secure shopping. A protocol was signed between ETO and the Eskişehir Regional Directorate of Ziraat Bank for the Bankkart Başak Supply Chain. The agreement was signed by ETO President Metin Güler and Ziraat Bank Eskişehir Regional Director Canay Demirbel. With this protocol, ETO members will be able to purchase products under favorable conditions and with up to 18 months of payment terms through the Bankkart Başak Supply Chain. ETO members using this system will also be able to carry out commercial activities without needing checks or promissory notes, and they will receive payment for their products the day after the sale with special commission rates.

Support for ETO members facing difficult times

At the signing ceremony, ETO President Metin Güler highlighted that traders and industrialists are going through a challenging period due to the pandemic. He stated that the chamber has been working hard to support its members. Güler mentioned that in 2020, ETO allocated all its resources to the "Nefes Kredisi" (Breath Credit), providing 39 million TL in loans to its members. He added that ETO has also worked intensively to enable members to benefit from public bank support, noting that nearly 80 million TL in chamber-sourced and public-backed loans were provided to ETO members in 2020.

Güler emphasized the importance of every kind of support that helps members facilitate trade and maintain cash flow for businesses. He noted that with the protocol signed with Ziraat Bank, ETO members included in the Bankkart Başak Supply Chain can purchase products under favorable conditions with up to 18 months of payment terms. Güler highlighted that this would reduce the cash needs of traders and enable ETO members to shop securely using Bankkart Başak.

ETO members to benefit from Ziraat Bank privileges

Ziraat Bank Eskişehir Regional Director Canay Demirbel stated that as a bank, they work to support the development of trade and ensure that traders and industrialists can manage their businesses smoothly. He expressed his pleasure in seeing ETO members benefit from the privileges of the Bankkart Başak Supply Chain, noting that ETO members will be able to conduct their business easily and securely with the system. Demirbel added that ETO members interested in benefiting from these privileges can apply to Ziraat Bank branches.
