ETO President Metin Güler visited the Eskişehir Provincial Ambulance Command and Control Center during Emergency Medical Services Week and thanked the healthcare workers who perform their duties with great dedication.
Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce President Metin Güler, accompanied by Board Member Mehmet Kahya, visited the Eskişehir Provincial Ambulance Command and Control Center on the occasion of Emergency Medical Services Week, which is observed from December 1 to 7. During the visit, Güler emphasized the sacrifices made by healthcare workers, who fight tirelessly to keep citizens alive and restore their health, and extended his gratitude to all healthcare personnel. Güler noted that the pandemic has further complicated the already challenging work of healthcare professionals, who risk their own lives to save others. He stressed that supporting healthcare workers, who continue their duties at the expense of being away from their families and loved ones, is a responsibility for everyone.
Our ambulances reach patients in 4.5 minutes
Dr. Veli Görkem Pala, Chief Physician of the Eskişehir Provincial Ambulance Service, expressed his gratitude to ETO President Metin Güler for the visit and provided information about their work. Pala stated that the emergency ambulance service in Eskişehir reaches patients in an average of 4.5 minutes, and with an average age of 33, they are one of Turkey's youngest ambulance service units. He also mentioned that the ambulances travel approximately 155,000 kilometers each month, effectively covering every street in the city twice. Pala added that thanks to their qualified personnel and equipment, they are able to provide better services to the citizens and that they aim to complete their ongoing projects as soon as possible.
