INCREASING INTEREST IN HYGIENE TRAININGS AT ETO

The number of participants in the hygiene trainings organized by ETO in cooperation with the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education has reached 21,500.

The COVID-19 pandemic continues to pose a threat to public health, both globally and in our country. Hygiene measures taken in workplaces are of great importance to reduce the risk of the pandemic and prevent the spread of the virus. The Hygiene Training, organized in cooperation with ETO and the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education, contributes to both workplace health and reducing the danger of COVID-19. In 2020 alone, ETO Academy has organized 44 hygiene training sessions.

1,341 people received training in 2020

In 2020, 1,341 individuals, primarily those working in the food and service sectors, participated in the training sessions organized by ETO and the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of National Education. The total number of participants in the hygiene trainings organized by ETO Academy has reached 21,500. These trainings provide eight hours of detailed instruction on hygiene practices that should be implemented in the workplace, and those who pass the exams are awarded a Hygiene Certificate.

The Hygiene Certificate is crucial for the food industry

ETO President Metin Güler emphasized that the importance of hygiene measures in the workplace has increased even more due to the pandemic. He noted that the trainings for the Hygiene Certificate, which is mandatory for those working in the food sector, continue with strict adherence to mask-wearing, social distancing, and cleanliness rules. Güler highlighted that workplace hygiene measures help prevent the spread of the virus, making the Hygiene Certificate highly important.
