Four cooperatives, which prepared projects under the leadership of TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board and applied to the KOOP-DES Grant Program, have been awarded up to 200,000 TL in support from the Ministry of Trade.
Four women’s cooperatives in Eskişehir applied to the Cooperative Support Program (KOOP-DES) launched by the Ministry of Trade by preparing projects with the guidance of TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board. The projects of the İnönü District Skillful Home Women’s Initiative Production and Business Cooperative, Eskişehir Women’s Hand Production and Marketing Cooperative, Eskişehir Another School is Possible Education Cooperative, and Every Home is a Workshop Women’s Initiative Production and Business Cooperative were approved, and each earned the right to receive up to 200,000 TL in support.

A signing ceremony was held between the cooperatives awarded up to 200,000 TL in support and the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Trade. The ceremony, hosted by ETO, was attended by Cemil Kürkçü, Eskişehir Provincial Trade Director; Elif Gürkaynak, Chairwoman of the Executive Committee of TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board; and representatives of the women’s cooperatives receiving support.

Speaking at the ceremony, Elif Gürkaynak, Chairwoman of the Executive Committee of TOBB Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board, expressed their pride in leading women entrepreneurs in writing projects and securing grants of up to 200,000 TL. Gürkaynak explained that the program will help provide essential equipment for the cooperatives and offer support in promotion and marketing. She extended her thanks to the Ministry of Trade and Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce for their support. Gürkaynak emphasized that the path to greater prosperity for Turkey and Eskişehir lies in entrepreneurship, and they are committed to developing it further.
Eskişehir became one of the provinces receiving the most support
Speaking at the ceremony, Eskişehir Provincial Trade Director Cemil Kürkçü noted that the Ministry of Trade initiated the KOOP-DES Grant Program to expand and strengthen women’s cooperatives. He highlighted that with eight cooperatives, Eskişehir became one of the provinces receiving the most support. Kürkçü emphasized the importance of proper project planning for receiving support and praised the Eskişehir Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Board for effectively managing the process. He congratulated the cooperatives receiving grants and mentioned that this is the first time the Ministry of Trade has launched such a program specifically for women’s cooperatives.
