"WE MUST IMPROVE TRADE WITH BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA"

Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Ankara Mr. Bakir Sadovic and his delegation visited of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce accompanying to evaluate bilateral trade relations.

ECC President Mr. Metin Güler stated that Eskişehir's exports reached 2.3 billion dollars, and that advanced technology manufacturing gradually increased in our city's exports. He added that the aviation industry has reached an export figure of 300 million dollars and Eskişehir has an important place in the rail systems, ceramics, white goods, mining and building elements sector. He state that in the last 7 years our trade volume between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Eskişehir has increased approximately 4 times; the contacts of our chamber with the Chamber of Economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014 were also effective in this increase. He added that we want more companies from Eskişehir to be able to trade in Bosnia and Herzegovina and we hope that our brotherly ties and friendly relations reflect more in our trade volume. He said we are ready to provide all kinds of infrastructure for the development of our mutual trade.

Ambassador Mr. Bakir Sadovic state that they want to further develop trade relations with Turkey; after Italy, China, Austria, Germany, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Turkey is the one of largest trade partner for Bosnia and Herzegovina. He added after the free trade agreement signed with Turkey has made great progress in trade relations between the two countries; they want to increase mutual cooperation and improve the trade volume in the medium and long term.
